Cookie Notice

QAcademy AI uses a small, deliberate set of cookies and local storage entries. This notice explains each one, what it does, how long it lasts, and how you can opt out where the law gives you the right.

Strictly necessary (always on)

These keep you signed in, protect against CSRF, remember your accessibility preferences, and cache your course progress so the app works offline. They cannot be switched off because the service would not work without them.

• sb-* — Supabase authentication session (local storage, 1 year, refreshed on use).
• qacademyai-cookie-consent — your cookie consent choice (local storage, 12 months).
• qacademyai-progress-cache — offline course progress cache (local storage, cleared on sign-out).

Analytics (consent required in EU/UK)

We use privacy-aware product analytics (Plausible Analytics, EU-hosted, cookieless) to understand which courses help learners progress. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We process it under legitimate interests in the UK and consent in the EU.

What we do not use

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No cross-site tracking pixels.
• No behavioural profiling cookies.
• No advertising or remarketing cookies on family or child accounts, ever.

Managing your choices

Use the cookie banner the first time you visit. To change later, clear site data in your browser or email privacy@qacademyai.com. You can also block all non-essential cookies through your browser settings (DNT and GPC are respected automatically).

Updates

We will update this notice whenever we add or remove cookies. Material changes are announced on the platform.
